ITINERARY
Day 1:
ARRIVAL KILIMANJARO - ARUSHA
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your pre-arranged hotel in Arusha. Here, you will meet your driver guide who will provide you with a briefing about your upcoming safaris. You can then relax and prepare for the adventure ahead. Your accommodation includes breakfast.
DAY 2:
LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK
Today, you'll explore Tanzania's Lake Manyara, a compact but captivating national park. Keep an eye out for elephants, troops of baboons, and the elusive tree-climbing lions. Your private 4x4 safari vehicle and experienced guide will lead you through a wildlife wonderland around the vast soda lake, where buffalo, warthogs, giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, and pink flamingos mingle. Don't miss the Hippo Pool for hippo sightings and stunning Rift Valley Escarpment views. Lake Manyara offers more than game drives; cultural tours and canopy walks await. End the day at your lodge with an alfresco meal, serenaded by the wilderness.
DAYS 3-4:
SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Today, your African safari continues as you journey to Serengeti National Park, a prime attraction in Tanzania. Its endless plains and abundant wildlife are unparalleled. The highlight here is the spectacular Wildebeest Migration, featuring over a million wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles thundering across the vast Serengeti landscape. With your private guide, you'll seek out these herds on the plains. In addition to the migrating animals, expect encounters with lions, cheetahs, leopards, and more. The Serengeti's natural beauty is awe-inspiring. For a unique wildlife-watching experience, consider a balloon safari, drifting silently above the plains amidst herds of animals—an incredible adventure.
DAY 5:
NGORONGORO CRATER
You'll start your day early, departing from Arusha and heading to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy the scenic drive as the road winds through the Great Rift Valley and passes through the enchanting crater forest, ultimately leading to your destination: the awe-inspiring Ngorongoro Crater.
This collapsed volcano shapes a unique ecosystem teeming with diverse vegetation and vibrant landscapes. Prepare to be amazed by the array of wildlife that calls this place home. The Ngorongoro Crater boasts Africa's highest concentration of wildlife, including elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos, and even the elusive black rhino, making it a prime location for spotting the Big Five. The views from the crater rim offer breathtaking panoramas of the crater floor, earning it a spot among Africa's Seven Natural Wonders. In addition to wildlife viewing, you can also explore the area's cultural heritage, such as visiting a Maasai village.
DAY 6:
BACK TO ARUSHA/AIRPORT DROP-OFF
Today is a day of leisure, either for relaxation or exploration, depending on your flight schedule. Your driver will transport you to Kilimanjaro Airport for your departure flight on day 6, returning you home.
