The next morning, you'll embark on your first Tanzania safari, so take today to rest from your journey and savor the African ambiance. The remainder of the day is yours to relax and immerse yourself in Africa's sights and sounds.
DAY 2:
LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK
Today, your adventure takes you to Lake Manyara, one of Tanzania's smaller yet remarkable national parks. Here, you'll witness herds of elephants, troops of baboons, and if you're lucky, even tree-climbing lions. Your private 4x4 safari vehicle and experienced guide will lead you on a thrilling day-long journey around the soda lake, where you'll encounter a mesmerizing array of wildlife, from buffalo and warthogs to giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, and vibrant pink flamingos. NGORONGORO CRATER
Early morning, your journey takes you from Arusha to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a route that passes through the Great Rift Valley and the enchanting crater forest. Your destination is the remarkable Ngorongoro Crater, a collapsed volcano that shapes a unique ecosystem adorned with diverse vegetation. NGORONGORO - DEPARTURE
Today is a free day for relaxation or exploration, depending on your flight schedule. Your driver will take you to Kilimanjaro Airport for your departure flight.
