4 DAYS | 3 NIGHTS
ITINERARY
Day 1:
ARRIVAL KILIMANJARO - ARUSHA
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your pre-arranged hotel in Arusha. Here, you will meet your driver guide who will provide you with a briefing about your upcoming safaris. You can then relax and prepare for the adventure ahead. Your accommodation includes breakfast.
DAY 2:
NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA
On day 2 of your Tanzania safari, rise early and embark on a journey from Arusha to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy the scenic drive as the road winds through the Great Rift Valley and passes through the enchanting crater forest, ultimately leading to your destination: the awe-inspiring Ngorongoro Crater.
This collapsed volcano is one of Tanzania's most sought-after destinations, and for good reason. As one of Africa's Seven Natural Wonders, the crater boasts the highest concentration of wildlife on the continent, including elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos, and even the rare black rhino. Explore this unique landscape safely and comfortably within your private safari vehicle, immersing yourself in the finest of nature's offerings.
Beyond game drives, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area offers a plethora of bucket-list activities in Tanzania, from visiting a traditional Maasai village to witnessing the Laetoli Footprint, the oldest known footprints of early humans dating back approximately 3.6 million years.
DAY 3:
TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
After an exhilarating day at the Ngorongoro Crater, start your day with a delicious sunrise breakfast and set off for your next Tanzanian adventure: Tarangire National Park, where you'll enjoy a full-day game drive. This park is one of Tanzania's less-visited gems, promising a serene atmosphere with few fellow travelers and ample opportunities for private moments amidst the magnificent Baobab trees and the herds of majestic elephants.
Tarangire is renowned as the world's premier destination for wild elephant encounters, boasting the highest concentration of these magnificent creatures. Witness herds of up to 300 elephants congregating around the Tarangire River, either quenching their thirst in the shallows or indulging in a refreshing mud bath. Bird enthusiasts will also find paradise here, as the park is teeming with avian species. In the swampy areas, you may even spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, and tree-climbing pythons.
